Being able to score out of a BLOB basketball play can be the difference between a win and a loss in a close game. When picking your baseline out of bounds plays pick 3-4 plays out of the same formation. Don’t have one play out of a stack, one out a box, and another out of a 4 flat formation. The reason for this is because if you only have one play out of each formation, it will be easy for the defense to scout your plays.
Play Name: West Virginia Mountaineers: BLOB Triple Screen Double Stack Basketball Play (11-12)
Similar Plays: Chicago Bulls: BLOB Double Screen/Counter Basketball Play, Duke: BLOB Four High Basketball Play, Duke: BLOB Elbow Double Stack Basketball Play
Play Goal: Get a shot off of the inbound catch or get right into your offense.
Play Tips: Set good screens and cut hard. The man throwing the ball in needs to pass fake and not stare down his receiver. The screeners need to be available to receive the ball if their man over helps on the screen.
