When running ball screen basketball plays it all starts with the set up of the screen. The big man needs to take a good angle for the screen and then get his feet set and hit someone. That is only one side of it though, the guard needs to bring their man below the ball screen and then they need to aggressively attack off the screen and read the defense. Both parts are equally valuable and need to work together.
