Motion basketball offenses involve continuous cutting and screening. The basketball must continue to move and every player needs to be in the right place at the right time. It is important to maintain the right spacing because if the defense breaks down and there is no spacing another defender will be right there to break up the play. It is also key that the players do not run the offense like robots. Every cut and screen needs to be looked at as an opportunity to score the basketball.
