Box set basketball plays are great for getting your team to start with an off the ball screening action. If you are going to use a box set formation for your team, make sure that you do more then 1 or 2 different plays out of the box set. The reason for this is because having multiple basketball plays out of the same set will make it harder for the defense to scout your plays. Box sets are also great for getting the ball to a wing player to start the offense if the defense is trying to deny a catch.
