Houston Rockets: High Post Entry Fake Handoff, Pin Down Counter Play (10-11)

When trying to get your best player a shot it is important to have multiple screening actions to run him/her off of. For this basketball play, the defender thinks that they guarded the handoff and can relax, but before he knows it he has to guard another down screen action. Teach your players how to read the defender. There is no need to fight with the defender when trying to come off down screens. Just back cut them a couple of times and the down screen will be wide open the next times.
