The 2 Step 1 Step (Shuffle Step and Crossover Step) is a more advanced variation of the Lateral Shuffle Hop and the Cross Over Step. Footwork is a big part of the game of basketball, no matter what position you play. Whether you are a big man on the block looking to make a move or a shooter coming into their shot, you will use footwork. So it makes sense to spend time working on your footwork regularly.
When you do this basketball workout, look to stay as light on your feet as you can and push yourself to go quicker each time. However, you need to make sure that the player executes the footwork the correct way and that there is no wasted motion. Wasted movements are essentially equal to being slower.
